Junior Sales Representative (Software/Engineering)

Location: Ragama, Western Province,Sri Lanka 

Summary

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Junior Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, building relationships, and achieving sales targets while receiving mentorship and professional development.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential customers through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, and social media
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM system
  • Follow up with leads and prospects in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with senior sales team members to develop effective sales strategies
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and team activities
  • Stay informed about product features, industry trends, and competitor activities
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong knowledge and interest in technology and software sales
  • 0-2 years of sales experience (entry-level candidates are welcome)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and resilience in handling rejection
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales techniques and technologies
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
